Representation:

LSNA employs a legislative affairs specialist through Southern Strategies Group to look out for nurses interest in the Louisiana Legislature. The ANA works on Capitol Hill to address issues from patient to workplace rights. LSNA co-sponsors bills important to nurses in the state for consideration in Baton Rouge.

Full Membership:

For those nurses employed full or part time

Reduced Membership:

For those nurses not employed, a full time student, and new graduates within six months of graduation for their first year of membership

Special Membership:

Nurses 62 years and older not employed and those nurses totally disabled
